Anne Arundel Medical Center (AAMC) was founded in 1902 and includes a not-for-profit hospital, a medical group, imaging services, a substance abuse treatment center and other health enterprises. In addition to the 57-acre Annapolis campus, AAMC has a total of 425 licensed in-patient beds, over 26,000 in-patient admissions, and 924,000 outpatient visits each year. There are over 1100 medical staff and more than 4700 employees.
